A routine maintenance program can be designed to assure the aesthetic beauty of your aquarium and to provide a healthy environment for its inhabitants.

I can provide a selection of brackish, marine and reef specimens for your aquarium. I carefully inspect them to assure that everything placed in your aquarium is healthy and of the best quality. I properly acclimate each specimen to help reduce stress caused by shipping. To avoid problems, I assess the compatibility of the specimen with your aquarium's current inhabitants. I follow the standard practices of American Marinelife Dealers Association (AMDA) for stocking aquariums. http://www.amdareef.com

Since saltwater and brackish setup need more attention I setup a weekly visit to make sure everything is balanced and catch any issues before they get out of control.

Each Visit includes:

Clean exterior and interior aquarium surfaces.
Maintain the aquarium’s substrate.
Maintenance and cleaning of the life support system.
Clean overflow filtration pads.
Empty Protein Skimmer collection cup.
Clean covers and light fixtures of algae and salt deposits.
Check color, smell and temperature of water.
Water test (Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates, & pH).
Visual check of fish for head-count, disease, swimming and breathing rates.
Visual checks of equipment, air, and water flow.
